Nona LaVaughn Matthews, second known child born to Shelby Shane and Nona Belle Denton Matthews, spent the majority of her life working in administrative profession mainly with Missouri Power and Light Comany in Jerrerson City, Missouri. She was very active in the United Methodist Church, the Rachel Circle of the Church, volunteering at St Mary's Healt Center and Southgate Nursing Center. She was highly respected and loved by all who knew her. She never married, but was loving and attentive to family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
