The funeral for Laura May Lovell, 64, Sanborn will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (today) in First Baptist Church, Valley City, with burial in Sanborn. She died Sunday, January 2, 1994.
Laura May Woodbury was born November 25, 1929, in Valley City where she grew up and graduated from high school. She married Norman Lovell February 24, 1949, in Valley City. They lived in Valley City until moving to Sanborn, where they farmed and operated a service station. He died in 1990.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Wanda), and Bruce, both Sanborn; three daughters, Deborah (Roger) Tessman, Goodrich, ND and Victoria Lovell and Esthelle (Kevin) Clyde, both Sanborn; two brothers, Ed, St. Paul and Roy Auburn, WA; two sisters, Shirley (Jim) Eliason, Renton, WA, and Noreen Graves, San Diego; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
