"PERRY--High mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic church for John Neuerburg, 79, Noble county pioneer, who died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday in the Ponca City hospital.
Neuerburg came to this county from Carroll, Iowa, in 1894, and farmed six miles west of Perry until a few years ago when he moved to Perry.
Born Nov. 8, 1867, in St.Lucas, Iowa, Neuerburg was married in 1891 in Carroll to Mary Tobin who survives. He had been ill for the past four years and was taken to Ponca City last week.
In addition to the widow, survivors are two sons, Leo of Perry and John of Lewis, Ind.; six daughters, Mrs. Mae Hempfling of Perry, Mrs. H. H. Ellis of Red Rock, Mrs. Rose Souza and Mrs. Kathryn Ornes, both of Hayward, Calif., Mrs. Delphine Antle of Perry and Mrs. Regina Falke of Lamont, Okla., 28 grandchildren and 11 great grand-children."
