Rena Mae Nabours (nee Myers), age 91 of Hammond, went home to Heaven on Saturday, July 3, 2010. She is survived by her loving daughter, Betty Sue Keith; seven grandchildren: Terry Edward (Carol) Nabours, Patricia Gail Denton, Anita Joyce (Scott) Hawk, Wendell Ray (Rebecca) Keith, Kerry Anthony (Erin) Keith, Gregory Neal (Tanya) Keith and Kimberly Sue (Ray) Dulsky; and 17 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents: John Myers and Minnie Bell Myers (nee Wilson); her beloved husband of 47 years, Dennis Edward Nabours; son, Edward Douglas (Evalene) Nabours; and son-in-law, Wendall Wavy Keith.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home, 301 Liberty Street, Hartford, KY with Pastor Charles Brawnd officiating.
Burial will follow at McCord Cemetery in Horse Branch, KY.
Rena was born and raised in Olaton, KY where she resided until about five years ago when her health required she move to Northwest Indiana to be near her daughter. She was a retired restaurant manager. Rena was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church in Ohio Co., KY.
