James Monroe Morrison, of Greason, retired farmer, died this morning at 7 o'clock at his home after two weeks illness of pneumonia. He was aged 79 years.

Mr. Morrison was born September 22, 1852, the son of George W. and Catherine Morrison.

He is survived by the following children, Mrs. G. S. Steigleman, of Barnitz; Mrs. R. L. Thursh, of Steelton; Milton M. Morrison, Mt. Holly Springs, and G. W. Morrison, of Carlisle; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Keck and Mrs. Annie Baker, both of Carlisle; two brothers, Wesley Morrison, Mt. Rock and Geary Morrison, Carlisle, R.D.

He was a member of the Church of God, Walnut Bottom, and the Junior Order of Independent Americans.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the home. Burial will be in Westminster cemetery. Friends and relatives have been requested to omit flowers.
