Gingerich, John E., son of Jonas and Emma (Stutzman) Gingerich, was born in Ohio, Feb. 8, 1895, died at Albany, Ore., May 4, 1982; aged 87 y.

On Feb. 8, 1917, he was married to Lydia Troyer, who survives.

Also surviving are 2 daughters (Edna-Mrs. Edward Kenagy and Dorothy-Mrs. Veldon Kropf), 6 grandchildren, 3 half brothers (Chris, Levi, and Dan Gingerich), and a stepsister (Sarah Miller).

He was a member of Zion Mennonite Church where funeral services were held May 7 in charge of John P. Oyer; interment in Zion Mennonite Cemetery.
