Minnie V. Roth, 87, died Tuesday at the Albany Mennonite Home. She and her husband, Joel, had managed the home from 1950 to 1965.

She was born Nov. 16, 1901, in Kenmare, N.D., and moved to the Portland area in 1918.
She married Joel Roth Dec. 9, 1923 in Hubbard. They moved to Albany in 1950 to become managers of the Albany Mennonite Home. In 1965 they moved to Pasco, Wash. Her husband died in January 1979, and she returned to Albany.

Mrs. Roth was a member of Pasco Country Christian Center.
Surviving are daughter Shirley Stutzman of Pasco, Wash.; brothers Tim Kauffman of Tucson, Ariz.; and Freeman Kauffman of Barlow; and sisters Lela Richardson and Orpha Saucy, both of Portland, and Mabel Shank of Milwaukie. Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Zion Mennonite Church in Hubbard, with Chaplain Louis Lehman officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Jost Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
