Table Rock Argus, Jul. 18, 1965.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Table Rock for Mrs. Ellen Fellers, 64, who died Thursday in the Community Hospital in Henderson, Nebr.

Funeral services were also held at the Lushton E.U.B. church Saturday afternoon. Burial was in the Table Rock cemetery.

Mrs. Fellers, who had maintained a home in Table Rock since her marriage to W. C. Fellers in 1938 and since his passing in 1959, had spent most of her life in the teaching profession.Besides rural schools, she also taught in the high schools at Broken Bow, Oakdale, Table Rock, Lewiston, Elk Creek and Henderson.

She is survived by her mother, two brothers and six sisters; many nephews, nieces and a host of friends.

The Rev. Alvin Trucano officiated at the services in Table Rock.

Ellen Lillian Mann Fellers, third daughter of the Rev. F. V. and Alma Johnson Mann, was born near Shickley, Nebr. in Fillmore county, on August 12, 1900, and departed this life at the Henderson Community Hospital July 1, 1965.

With her parents she lived in many communities due to the ministry of her father who served in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska.

She graduated from the Gibbon High School with the class of 1920. Following this she taught in rural schools. She entered York College and graduated in 1927 with a Bachelor of Expression degree. Later she completed work for a B.A. degree.

She also attended Northwestern University of Colorado at Boulder, and Peru State at Peru, Nebr.

She was awarded the "Freedom Foundation Award" to teachers four years ago and she was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma. She was an active member of the Table Rock Methodist Church.

She was united in marriage to Willis C. Fellers August 14, 1938 and they established their residence in the Fellers home in Table Rock, where they remained. Mr. Fellers passed away January 8, 1959.

Mrs. Feller's great concern was the teaching profession to which she gave herself unreservedly. She taught besides rural schools, in the high schools of Broken Bow, Oakdale, Table Rock, Lewiston, Elk Creek, and the past two years in the Henderson school. Her fields of teaching included English, dramatics, normal training and home economics.

One of the ambitions of her life was to see the production of the Passion Play in Oberammaurgau in Germany. This was realized when she visited in Europe in 1960. Another ambition was realized when she visited the Holy Land and other areas of that part of the world in 1962. She also traveled over much of the United States and Canada.

During her illness, the concern of those whose lives she had touched was evidenced by the many visitations and multitudinous communications.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Alma Mann of Henderson, Nebr.; two brothers, Floyd S. Mann of Lincoln, and Franklin C. Mann of Henderson, Colo.; and sisters, the Rev. Maude V. Mann of Lushton, Nebr., Mrs. Fern Denton of Lincoln, Mrs. Edwin (Gladyce) White of Vancouver, Wash., Mrs. V. A. (Lorene) Colon of Lincoln, and Mrs. Charles (Naomi) McDonald of Milpitas, Calif.; nephews, nieces and a wide circle of friends.
