Mrs. Clemons was born November 4, 1948 in Lake City, daughter of Arcie Lee Parrott Marce of Moncks Corner and the late John H. Wright, Sr.
She attended schools in Lake City and Charleston. She was of the Church of God faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie Lee Chavis of North Charleston and Sharon Renee Stokes of Greenville; mother and step-father, Arcie Lee Marce and Raymond Marce of Moncks Corner; brothers, Donnie Pas of Moncks Corner and John H. Wright, Jr. of Darlington. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Danny E. Wright.
