Dora Ethel "Ethel" Ramming Logan, along with her infant son, died in 1918 in the devastating flu epidemic. Her death certificate is totally messed up which probably speaks more to the chaotic conditions at the time than the incompetency of the physician and county clerk's office. The death cert states her date of birth as "Nov 6" no birth year listed; "20" years old; Date of Death as "*Nov* 6, 1918; that the Dr. attended her from *"Nov"* 1, 1918 to *"Nov"* 5, 1918. It was filed on Dec. *"3"*. I am sure the "Nov" s/b "Dec" in the physician's statement and the birth date of Nov 6th is an error-thinking of the death date that he wrote. Family Bible record, tombstone and obit are all in agreement on a death date of *Dec* 6, 1918 and a birth date of *June* 6, 1898. (Census record supports this birth date also.)
