Daisy Stone, 88, of Morrisvale, W.Va., died Dec. 10, 2001 at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of the Morrisvale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin; son, Billy; and daughter, Wanda Graley. She is survived by sons, Bobby of Waverly, Carlean of Morrisvale; daughters, Geneva Smith, and Francine Paris, both of Lick Creek, Shirlean Smith of Ohio; Vivian Spurlock of Morrisvale; sister, Maxine Phillips of Arizona; 20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Rev. Henry Estep officiating. Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Yawkey. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
