MOS:0331 M60 Machine Gunner.

Jimmy was born in San Jose and lived there
until he enlisted in the Marines 24 February
1966 at a San Diego Recruiting Office.
Upon arriving in Vietnam Jimmy was assigned
to Fox Company,2nd Battalion,4th Marine
Regiment,3rd Marine Division.Jimmy died as a
result of hostile small arms fire when Fox
Company engaged hostile forces,3 kilometers
east of Con Thien while participating in
Operation Kingfisher.
Tour of duty unknown.
Survived by his wife,Andrea D Curry of 2371
Sutter Ave,Apt #8,San Jose,his father,James
P Curry of 1546 Mt Palomera Dr,San Jose and
his mother,Martha Mayfield of 6760 Archord
Station,Sebastopol,CA.

Jimmy and Andrea are buried together and
they share the headstone - Jimmy on the
front and Andrea on the back.

Posthumously awarded the Silver Star.
