Funeral services for Mrs. B. U. Meriwether, 30 years old, wife of B. U. Meriwether, an employe of the Shreveport Journal, whose death occurred at a local sanitarium following an operation Friday afternoon, were held Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock from the family residence, 225 Washington avenue. The services were conducted by Dr. R. H. Wynn, presiding elder of the Shreveport district of the Methodist church. Burial was in the Greenwood cemetery under the direction of Roll Osborn and Bona.
Active pallbearers were Lonnle White, Harry E. Harper, C. T. Keese, Eral Aechternacht, George S. Sexton, Jr. and C. C. Hardee.
