Mr. Curry died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998, at home.
Floyd was born April 25, 1925, in Reynolds, the son of Raymond and Edith Taylor Curry. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1943. He married Margo A. Liekefett July 6, 1952, in Rock Island. He owned and operated Curry Home Exteriors, Rock Island, for many years.
He was a life member of the former Central Presbyterian Church, Rock Island, now Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and member of the session. He also was a longtime member of Pinnacle Country Club, Milan.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, serving as a 1st lieutenant with a B-29 crew in the Pacific Theater.
Survivors include his wife; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Ellen Curry, Davenport, and Dan and Susan Curry, Chandler, Ariz.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily and Sam; his twin sister and brother-in-law, Ferris and Arthur Schertz, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Barbara Curry, Moline, and Roger and Connie Curry, Port Byron. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Berfield.
