Peggy Geraldine Ernst Calicott, 85, of Fort Smith died July 3, 2010, in Fort Smith.
She was a retired office manager and auditor for Baird, Kurtz & Dobson Accounting Firm, a member of First Lutheran Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Coy Calicott of the home; one son, Mickey and his wife Joyce Calicott of Fort Smith; a nephew, Gary and wife Kaye O'Hearn of Olive Branch, Miss.; brothers-in-law, Virgil E. Calicott of Fort Worth, Texas, Travis Calicott and wife Veda of Bluffton, Texas; sisters-in-law, Lucy Carlile and husband James of Leon, Okla., and Peggy Calicott of Boyd, Texas; three grandchildren, Michele and husband John Christman of Conway, John and wife Charla Calicott and Joseph Calicott of Fort Smith; and great-grandchildren, Micah Christman and Rachel and Ben Calicott.
Funeral service was Thursday at 10 a.m. at First Lutheran Church with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were John and Joseph Calicott, John Christman, Don Heard, Randy Coleman and Cleve McDonald.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Marilyn Barr and Betty Scarborough.
