Kiehn: ( b. Dec 2, 1905, d. Jun 22, 1988) " "Agnes Frances Kiehn of Ritzville, born Dec 2, 1905 to Joseph and Agnes Vostral at Ritzville, passed away June 22, (1988) at Odessa Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She attended country schools and was confirmed in the Catholic faith at St Joseph Church, Odessa. She married Carl Henry Kiehn in late 1934. Mrs. Kiehn was a long-time member of St Agnes Catholic Church, Ritzville, a 25-year member of the Ritzville Hospital Auxiliary, and a member of Gritman Senior Center. Preceded in death by her husband Carl in 1975, and by brothers Joseph, Ed and Henry Vostral, she is survived by three sons: Marvin Kiehn and Melvin Kiehn of Ritzville; and Jerald Kiehn of Pasadena, CA; by two sisters: Ethel Anderson and Alice Anderson, both of Spokane; by two sisters-in-law, Martha and Alice Vostral; and by a grandson, Kevin Kiehn. Rosary services were held June 24 at Danekas Funeral Home Chapel, and the Funeral Mass was celebrated June 23 at St Agnes Catholic Church by Fr Dick Bradley. Concluding services and vault interment followed at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery, Danekas Funeral Home in charge. Casket bearers were Larry Anderson, Tony Vostral, Tom Schafer, Dale Anderson, Rick Thompson and Raymond Bernard. Honorary bearers included Lydia Wagner, Polly Rehn, Mildred Selcho, Molly Schmidt, Emma Kinzel, Esther Elliot, Babe Steinmetz, Dot Thompson, Martha Vostral, Hannah Ils and Alice Vostral."
