Fannie Alverson Esco was step mother to John Henry Esco and Joseph David Esco. Their birth mother, Josie Sheppard, died in 1915 when they were five and two years old. Fannie has many Alverson family members in the Spartunburg, S.C. area. She is the only Grandmother I remember and she was a wonderful, genteel lady.
