Mrs. Euna M. Canady Dodson, age 78 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., formerly of Harrison, Arkansas, died Friday, May 23, 2008, at the Capital Region Medical Center. Mrs. Dodson was born September 16, 1929, in Cave Creek, Arkansas, the daughter of Albert and Alma Eddings Canady, both deceased. She was married January 1, 1946, in Newton County, Arkansas, to Clinton Dodson, who preceded her in death on February 6, 2002. A resident of the central Missouri area for the past three years, Euna was employed with Pants West in Harrison, Arkansas as a sales representative for over 20 years, retiring in 1995. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was a strong woman of faith. Survivors include: one daughter; one brother; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one brother, Darrel Canady, and one great-granddaughter, Daisy Manley. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the Holt Funeral Chapel in Harrison, Arkansas, with Mr. Jim Gaskill officiating. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison, Arkansas. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary in Jefferson City, Mo., from 4-6 p.m. Monday and from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at the Holt Funeral Home in Harrison, Arkansas.
