DIANA L. JONES
Diana L. Jones 68, widow of R. Benjamin Jones, early resident of Eden, died at the family home 630 Lincoln, Tuesday at ten-fifteen p.m. after a heart attack.
She was born in Seres, Bland county, VA., Oct 5, 1873, a daughter of James and Louse Groseclose Heninger. In 1881 the family came to Utah as converts ot the L.D.S. church.
Mrs. Jones resided in Ogden for six months, them moved to Eden, where she lived until four years ago, when she came to Ogden. She had been active inthe L.D.S. church,
especially in Relief Society and genealogical research work. She was married to Mr. Jones March 29, 1899. He was killed June 9, 1926 when he was struck by lighting while working.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Preston R. Jones, Eden; Byron Jones, Mrs. R.D. Rudd, and Miss Olive Jones, Ogden; Mrs. Grant Huffield, Salt Lake City; two brothers Henry C. Heninger; Logan and William F. Heninger, Riverdale; three sisters Mrs. Mary Schaefer and Mrs. Alpha Lincoln, both of Ogden; and Mrs. Rachel Jones, North Ogden.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday at one p.m. in the Lindquist Colonial funeral chapel, 3408 Washington. Friends may call at the chapel Thursday evening and Friday
until hour of services. Interment will be in Ogden City cemetery.
