MORAVIAN FALLS, Nov. 28 - Elias Anderson, 77, of Moravian Falls, died this morning in a Morganton hospital after a long illness. He was a retired farmer, a deacon in New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors: his wife, Mrs. Pansy Marlow Anderson; two sons, James G. of El Paso, Tex., Floyd of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Moore of Moravian Falls; two brothers, John A. of Moravian Falls, Jones P. of Greensboro; two sisters, Mrs. Lina Ball, North Wilkesboro, Mrs. Media Ashley of Greensboro; half brother, Lonnie Anderson of Rural Hall; two half sisters, Mrs. Josie Joyner and Mrs. Jeanie Anderson, both of Rural Hall. Funeral 4 p.m. Saturday, New Hope Baptist Church, the Rev. Iredell Osborne, the Rev. Tommy Luffman, the Rev. Mack McCurdy, burial in the church cemetery.
