Nannie Ellen Bentingfield was born on June 22, 1883, in Powell County, Kentucky, died on 7 Dec 1980 in Fairfax, Fairfax County, Virginia, at age 97, and was buried in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri.
Their daughters were Mary Dorrance Quinn, born about 1905 and Geraldine Dorrance Wells Hudson, born in 1916.
They moved from Sedalia to Warrensburg to Clinton between 1910 and 1930. On Everett's World War I Draft Registration Card in 1918 and the 1920 United States Federal Census, he listed his occupation as grocery or grocery store. Later he sold automobiles in Clinton and farmed in Warrensburg.
