He is a Sr of his son of the same name. He was born 8 July 1803 in Kingsbury, Washington, New York, USA to Daniel Cook (1769-1825)and Meriam Fellows(1773-1830)He was the 4th of 6 known children. He arrived in 1850 but which company is not known. He married Susan Ann Elizabeth Turple Brady(1818-1906) abt 1853. They had 4 known children, Henry Lyman II, Sarah Florilla, George Franklin, and Hyrum. He also helped raise his step-daughter Amelia Brady Gourney. He died 17 November 1869 in Goshen, Utah, Utah, USA.
