Mary was William Miller's second wife and they were married 19 May 1859 in South Bend. Mary Ann was the mother to all of the Miller children:

Death of Mrs. Wm. Miller
With feelings of ordinary regret will the news of the death of the wife of Mayor Wm. Miller be received. The direct cause of her demise was congestive chill from which she died, about 6 o'clock on Friday morning. Her husband and children are most deeply bereaved. She was a fond wife,a loving mother and an affectionate and enduring friend. The funeral was held at the residence of Wm.Miller.........Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev.William Richmond,of St James' Church.
