Funeral services for Mr. Fields were held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. D. L. Dahlgren officiating. He leaves, besides his aged parents Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Fields of Crawfordsville, two daughters, Fern Ellen and Audrey of Portland; three brothers, Jim and George of Crawfordsville, and Henry of Lowell, Ore.: two sisters, Mrs. Anna Pugh of Oakridge, Oreg. and Mrs. Eva Andrews of Helena, Montana.
He was married to Maggie Kelley at Albany on May 6, 1942. He had lived in Crawfordsville since his birth on April 7, 1902.
Internment was in Crawfordsville Union Cemetery.

Members of the Royal Neighbors and Rebekah Lodges were in charge of the vast amount of floral tokens. Mrs. Lucille Sisto, as soloist, sang "Jesus Savior Pilot Me" and "Sweet Hour of Prayer", accompanied by Eunice Dahlgren.
