Private was the brother of Madeline Clemans of Chestnut Hill, DE and grandson or son (described as both in different records) of Fannie Barkley of Dover, DE.
According to military records, he was originally buried in France, but was returned to Dover,
DE. in July of 1920. His final resting place is currently unknown.
Wilbert served as a Private in the U.S. Army during World War I.

He resided in Wilmington, Delaware prior to the war.

Wilburt "Died of Disease" during the war.
