Mrs. Redetzke was a lifetime Barton County, Kan., resident. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Altar Society of Claflin, D. of I. of Ellinwood, and the former member of Christian Mothers, St. Catherine Church, Dubuque, Kan.
Survivors include: three sons, Kenneth Redetzke and wife Sue, Miramar Beach, Fla., Marlyn Redetzke and wife Maggie, Cimarron, Kan., and Joseph Redetzke and wife Janey, St. Joseph, Mo.; one daughter, Darlene Buehler and husband Joe, Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Elfrieda Woydziak of Claflin, Kan.; one brother, Marvin Lang of Hays, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: six brothers, Albert, William, August (Gus), Ernest, Vernon, Edwin Lang; and two sisters, Frances Lang and Viola Weber.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with officiant, Father Dwight Birket. Interment in Claflin Cemetery. Wake service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, and after 6 p.m. at the Church in Claflin. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Immaculate Conception Church, Claflin Ambulance Fund, or Hospice Care of Hoisington, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. (From Hutchnews)
