R. N. GARY FUNERAL AT COLORADO TODAY

COLORADO, TEXAS ~~ Funeral service for Robert N. Gary who died Saturday will be held in the Methodist Church in Colorado, Texas, Sunday at 4:00 o'clock with Reverend Cal C. Wright, pastor officiating.

Gary was born at Cotton Gin, Limestone County, Texas December 14, 1855 and married Miss. Betty Story February 16, 1880. They moved to Mitchell County in 1882. He was a retired banker, farmer, rancher and business man. He was one of the pioneer business men of Colorado, Texas and one of the largest farmers of Mitchell County.

Internment in the Colorado Cemetery will be immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are A. C. Connell, Ralph Lee, Joe Smoot, Thomas R. Smith, Charles R. Earnest, Maurice Terrell, Jack Smith and Ralph Beal.

Mr. Gary is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. C. Thompson of Colorado; one brother,
C. P. Gary of Colorado; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Canady and Mrs. H. P. Curry both of Marlin and Mrs. Claude Turner of Houston.
