Mary Katherine Fischner, age 80, passed away Monday, October 3, 2005.
A memorial service was held on Thursday in the Rosewood Porter Chapel.
Her remains will be brought to Shiner to be buried in the Shiner Catholic Cemetery with her husband.
She was born in Halletsville to tke late Matt I. Bozka and Henrietta Kopeky Bozka. She married Burnell J. Fischner of Shiner and was a Registered Nurse.
Survivors include three sons John Pat Fischner and wife, Dana, David Eugene Fischner and wife, Karen, Mark Francis Fischner and wife Rhonda, one brother, James Bozka, four grandchildren, Stephanie Armstrong and husband David, Patricia Fischner, John Nathan Fischner, Chrisopher Fischner, and two great-grandchridren, David Armstrong Jr. and Haley Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnell J. Fischner, October 26, 1995; her mother, Feb. 9, 1982; her father, Jan. 28, 1969; and two brothers, Mathias "Mat" J. Bozka. Oct. 31, 2003. Carl A. Bozka, Aug. 31, 1993 and William Bozka.
