Services for John Euell Atwood, 55, were held at the Salem Methodist Church officiated by the pastor, Rev. Bob Richmond and Rev. Hubert Foust, pastor of First Baptist Church.
Mr. Atwood was a well-known farmer and rancher in the Finis Community. He was a member of Salem Methodist Church. An infant son preceded him in death. He had spent the day working on the new Salem Methodist Church building.
Survived by his wife; three sons - Kenneth Atwood, Donald Atwood, Billy Atwood; one daughter - Mrs. Annie Jewel Logan; two brothers - A.M. Atwood and L.F. Atwood; one sister - Mrs. Olan Clark; four grandchildren.
