Hoyt Otho Cupp
RIDGEDALE- Hoyt Otho Cupp, 64, Ridgedale, was born Aug. 29, 1930, in West Plains and died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, August 11, 1995, in Cox Medical Center North, after a six-month battle with cancer.
Formerly a resident of Springfield. Hoyt was an Air Force veteran and worked as a medical technologist for Cox Medical Centers. Prior to that, Hoyt was a former owner/operator of the clinical laboratory in Morton Medical Building for 35 years, where he touched the lives of many co-workers and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; three daughters, Dianne Wingender and her husband, Rob, and Patrice Cupp, all of Springfield, and Janie Schacher and her husband, Tom, Flippin, Ark.; a grandson, Jonathan Hoyt Wingender; a granddaughter, McKenna Suzanne Schacher; his mother, Ruby Cupp; and an aunt, Bessie Carte, both of West Plains.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Klingner Mortuary with the Rev. Tom Schacher officiating. burial will be at a later date in Springfield National Cemetery. The body has been cremated.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn, 38105.
