Mr. James M. Snodgrass, father of Dr. D. G. Snodgrass, of this place, whose dangerous illness at the home of his son, Rev. W. J. Snodgrass, in West Middlesex, was noted in last week's COURIER, died on Tuesday evening of last week. Death was caused by paralysis. Mr. Snodgrass was one of the oldest residents of South Shenango Township, in which he resided all his life. Had he lived until next month he would have been 78 years old. He was visiting his son when attacked with his last illness. The remains were brought back to Jamestown for burial.
