=============================
(1900 US census, Bossier parish, LA, Ward 4 (North Part)
Aaron Barnett, 33 (head) b Nov. 1866 LA.
Mattie M. Barnett, 32 (wife) b. Oct. 1867 LA.
Zina K. Barnett, 2 (Dau) b. Dec. 1897 LA.
Flor B. Barnett, 1 (Dau) b. Spt. 1899 LA.
Note: The birth month on this marker is somewhat difficult to read, and it has been called to my attention that a record exists stating that the birth month is March so I felt it necessary to make note of it. However, close examination of the marker appears to read "NOV.", so taking into consideration the frequency of instances where dates of Cemetery records, death certificates, census records and typos on the part of record keepers vary, and although the March date may possibly be accurate, I've decided with respect to being consistent with what appears on the actual marker photo as well as the month of birth stated on the 1900 census, to leave the birth month remaining as November, while noting the March date.
I would be glad to discuss further, any definite evidence (birth certificate, family bible or any other reliable source) of a different birth month with any family member if they like, at which time if documentation presented dictates, I would then enter a different month and simply make note of the date appearing on the marker. Thanks for understanding to all concerned.
