Actor. Born Stefan Ihnat in Czechoslovakia, he was popular character performer best remembered for his role as Fleet Captain Garth of Izar on the original "Star Trek" TV series. His other television credits include "Bonanza", "Gunsmoke", "Mission: Impossible", "Mannix", "Rawhide", "The Fugative" and many more. For feature films, he appeared in "Strike Me Deadly" (1963), "The Chase" (1966), "In Like Flint" (1967), "Madigan" (1968), "Zizag" (1970) and "Fuzz" (1972). He died of a heart attack at age 37 while the film festival in Cannes, France.
