SHERIDAN — Autumn Bailey Walker of Sheridan was born October 12, 1993, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Lance Allen & Dianna Denise "D.D." Harp Walker.
Autumn was a sophomore at Sheridan High School and a member of Pine Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Grapevine.
Autumn died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in Sheridan as a result of an automobile accident, at the age of 16.
Survivors include parents, Lance and D.D. Walker of Sheridan; brother, Joel Walker and wife Heather of Haskell; paternal grandparents, Buren and Margaret Stanton Walker of Sheridan; maternal grandparents, Arther and Jeannie Shellnut Harp of Sheridan; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Harper Walker of Sheridan; maternal great-grandfather, L.D. Shellnut of Sheridan; niece, Zadie Walker of Sheridan and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and classmates.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Buren T. Walker Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Bernice Shellnut; paternal great-grandparents, Ben Stanton and Lizzie Stanton Brown; maternal great-grandparents, Ernest and Dora Harp.
Funeral services were held, Saturday, March 6, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Jim Bradshaw and Bro. Josh Freeman officiating.
Burial followed at Center Grove Cemetery near the Prague Community.
