Henry J. Rosemeyer, 105, Dreyerhaus Nursing Home, Batesville, Ind., died Thursday, Nov. 4, at his residence.
Rosemeyer was born Sept. 4, 188 in Dearborn County, the son of John Rosemeyer and Mary Lawrence.
He was married to Elizabeth Fink who preceded him in death in 1964. Rosemeyer was a retired farmer.
He is survived by sons Joseph and George Rosemeyer of Sunman and Alfred Rosemeyer of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and daughters Hazel Judd of Riverside, Calif., and Dora Hill of Sunman. His sister Rosie Ester of Anderson, Ind., also survives with 16 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday at Cook Funeral Home in Sunman, Ind. Rev. Daniel Leigh Nugent officiated. He was buried at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Sunman.
Memorials can go to the Sunman Fire Department or Life Squad.
