Funeral services for George N. Lee Sr., 76, of Orland, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the F.D. Sweet & Son Funeral Chapel in Orland.
Lee died Friday at a Chico hospital.
He was born November 18, 1909, in Texas. A retired dairyman, he moved to the Orland area 12 years ago. He was a 40-year member of the Carpenters' Union No. 1930.
Survivors included his wife, Florence of Orland; one son, George Jr. of Orland; four daughters, Georgia Greene and Judy Swindle of Orland, Mildred Toerge of Downey, and Edith Miller of Sacramento; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ted Sievers of the Orland Jehovah Witnesses officiated at the service.
Burial followed in the Orland Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. - Transcribed by E.
