Services for W.R. Gay were held in Hampton-Vaughan Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Don McKenzie, pastor of Highland Heights Christian Church. Graveside rites were conducted in Graham. A retired accountant, Mr. Gay moved to Wichita Falls in 1920. Survived by his wife; one daughter - Margaret Hummell; one son - John E. Gay; one sister - Laura Newberry; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren.
