Troyer.--- Elisabeth King Troyer was born Dec. 3. 1831, in Lancaster Co., Pa.; died March 22, 1919, at the home of her daughter, J. J. Kauffman, near Hubbard, Oreg.; aged 87 y. 3 m. 19 d.
She was married to Peter Troyer Jan. 1, 1855. To this union were. born six children. Her companion and two of the children preceded her to the Spirit world. Four children, fourteen grandchildren, and thirty-Seven great.great.grandchildren survive her with a host of friends.
Grandma Troyer was a faithful Christian mother and consistent member of the A. M. Church for many years.
Funeral services March 23 conducted by Daniel Roth from the Zion A. M. Church. Text, Rev. 14:13. Remains were laid to rest within the cemetery nearby.
