MOTHER DIES AT SON'S BIRTH
Mrs. Mildred E. Wendland, 40, wife of Louis Wendland, 133 West Dickson avenue. did Monday night at General hospital shortly after the birth of a son. The child survived.
Mrs. Wendland was born Oct. 24, 1907, in Mansfield and had spent her entire life in this community.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three sons, Richard, Terry and Wadw H.; a daughter. Martha: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Martin; two brothers, Herman and John Martin, and a grandchild, all of Mansfield.
The body is at the Wappner funeral home, where services will be held Thursday at 1 P.M. in charge of Rev. John G. Gensel, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Mansfield cemetery.
