Abraham Molsbee
Born July 8 1835 in Tennessee. He was a Brethren Elder and minister from 1860 until the time of his death. He spent many years of his life serving his church. At the very first District Meeting held in Nocona, TX. on August 6, 1891 he was elected a Moderator. As a moderator, he was to keep order, decide who was entitled to the floor, let the speaker know when his time was up, when to dismiss the meetings, to take the votes and announce the results. The records show that he was moderator in the following years (and for some years not recorded) 1891, 1895. He was a "Member on Standing Committee" for the following years: 1897 (for TX and OK) 1898 (OK)

This cemetery was named for his family. His church work and short biography is recorded in "A History of the Brethren in Texas and Oklahoma 1891-1922". Some of the churches he ministered to were Nocona, Pleasant Valley, Williams Creek churches in Texas.
