TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Ervin Jake Lamb, 80, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Holt Cemetery near Spearman, Texas, with Beau Lamb officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Mr. Lamb was born July 23, 1929, in Spearman to Jake and Minnie Blanche Lamb. He married Maresa Sue Pittman on July 2, 1950, in Perryton. He managed multiple ranches in New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his wife, on Sept. 14, 2001; and by four sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Troy Lamb and wife Lori of Encino, Tony Lamb and wife JoAngela of Amarillo and Tim Lamb and wife Caren of Fort Sumner; a brother, Bob Lamb and wife Sue of Clayton; five grandchildren, Beau Lamb and wife Melissa, T.J. Lamb, Bob Lamb and wife Kim, Amy Jackson and husband Jay and Will Lamb; and six great-grandchildren, Kelsi, Colter, Caden, Jake, Cooper and Cade.
