William C. Barnwell [Sr.]

Graveside services for William Claude Barnwell, 86, of 1019 Hendley St., who died Wednesday will be held today at 11 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery.

Dr. Maurice Trimmer will officiate.

Mr. Barnwell was a native of Meriwether County. Mr. Barnwell had been a resident of Macon for 50 years and was a retired train dispatcher. He was educated in the Atlanta public schools. Mr. Barnwell was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 5, F. & A.M.

Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Minna Springer; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Noble of Charlotte N.C., Mrs. C.P. Barron of Atlanta, and Mrs. James T. McArrell of Macon; two sons, W.C. Barnwell Jr. and Harry Barnwell, both of Macon.
Memorial Chapel is in charge.
