Pearl M Rupert Leetonia Pearl M Rupert, 73, of 644 Chestnut St. died of a heart ailment at 12:01 p.m. Thursday in Salem Community Hospital following a long illness. Born June 18, 1910 in Clearfield County Pa she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline Cortot Anthony. She had lived in the Leetonia area for 25 years moving from New Waterford. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Order of Secular Franscicans of St. Mary Friary of Columbiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, on Nov 22, 1968, Walter V Rupert whom she married Jan 19, 1935. She leaves a son, John F Rupert of Leetonia, two daughters Mrs. James Pauline Quinn of Salem and Mrs. Michale Maxine Mudger of Leetonia; and siz grandchildren. She also was prededed in death by a brother, Russell Anthony in 1977. A requiem mass will be said Monday at 10 a.m. at St Patrick Church with the Rev John Joseph Gonchar OFM officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Woods Rettig Funeral Home of Leetonia is handling arrangements. end
