She was born in Clarke county, Ala. on the 29th of May, 1826, and died on the 18th of November, 1858.
Having been an exemplary member of the Baptist Church and a devout student of the Bible, to the truths of which she daily conformed, a faithful wife and a tender mother, her kindness won the hearts of all, to whom she was known. Though deeply mourned by relatives and friends, their loss is her eternal gain.
A member of the Church on earth,
A member now above,
Where all who know the Savior
Like her will share his love.
Departed saint she's gone to rest,
To praise and to adore
The Mighty God, with angels blest
On Heaven's eternal shore.
