H.L. "Loyd" McNutt, 76, Scotts Acres in Plemons, died Saturday, August 13, 1988, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A retired operator with Phillips Petroleum Company, he was a native of Quanah and an area resident since 1948.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ola of the home; two sons, Allen McNutt of Borger and Donald F. McNutt of Anaheim, Calif.; two daughters, Mary Louise Collins of Glendora, Calif., Francis Clark of Scotts Acres; three brothers, Paul (Jake) McNutt of Fritch, Floyd McNutt of Quanah and Otis McNutt of Fort Worth; four sisters, Oleta Sargent and Ellen Landers, both of Borger; Sally Duvall of Quanah, Dorothy Diggs of Fort Worth; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will be staying at 1301 Hazlewood.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister, Gardner Street Church of Christ, officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Quanah Cemetery in Quanah, Texas under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
