DEATH OF MRS. ELLEN WIMBERLEY

-----------------

On Tuesday evening, Nov. 6th, the death angel visited the home of Mrs. Ellen Wimberley and carried her spirit home. She was reared in Clarke County and lived all of her married life near Carmichael, Miss. She was first married to Mr. John Carmichael who had one child, Mr. J. A. Carmichael of Brewer, Miss. To this union were born three children, A. Carmichael, Mrs. Ida Butler and Mrs. Nannie Butler who proceeded her to the grave. Mr. Carmichael died a number of years ago. She then married Mr. Jim Wimberley. To this union were born four children, Mrs. Ada Williams, Mrs. Ruby Williams, Mr. E. A. Wimberley and Miss Stella Wimberley. She joined the Methodist church in early life and lived a true Christian life.

She was tenderly laid to rest in Andrew's Chapel cemetery a'mid a mass of beautiful flowers with spoke of the high esteem in which she was held. It is hard to give up one so pure in mind and so richly endowed. We mourn her death but we know a soul so radiant with love for her fellow-men is now at rest with the redeemed.

Th church she so dearly loved will miss her long and sorely. The home now feels the anguish of the vacant chair. Our hearts go out today in tenderest sympathy to the loved ones. If there was ever a soul borne upward upon rays of glory it was the pure soul of this friend we love.

The King in his beauty has given a welcome sweet to one who personated the golden spirit of the new commandment and who spent her life doing good.
