HOWARD L ROOD: Ashtabula; 71, died Friday morning at Ashtabula General Hosp. MrRood was projectionist for Shea Theatre Corp for 53 years & had retired 11 Feb 1972. He was born in Conneaut 28 Sep 1902, son of Arthur & Minnie Pancost Rood & had been a lifetime area resident. He attended the First Presbyterian Church & was a member of the International Alliance Of Theatrical Stage Employees & Motion Picture Machine Operators. He is survived by his wife the former BETTY FULLER; 3 children: Karen (MrsNeil) White-BrentwoodNY; MrsJanet Kohut-Parma; Thomas Ford-Mentor; 1 bro: Francis Rood-GoldenrodFL; 1 sis: Reba (MrsEdward) Bartram-Jefferson; 8 grandchildren & several nieces-nephews. Service will be Monday afternoon at Jack Ross Funeral Home with RevDrGeorge Johnson-First United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in MapleGrove Cem-Plymouth.
