SILVER POINT - Funeral services for Audra Camilla Denny, 91, of Silver Point will be held Monday, October 29,at 1 p.m.in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home in Cookeville. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Denny died Friday, October 26, 1990 in Cookeville General Hospital. Born Febrary 9, 1899 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Matilda Wallace Anderson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Denny was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Timothy Denny; four sisters, Martelia Medley, Ollie Julian, Addie Gill and Eldra Shanks, and a brother, Grover Anderson. Her family includes a son, Tim Denny of East Detroit, Michigan; four grandchildren, Ronald T. Denny of Seattle, Washington, Richard Lewis Denny of Bel Air, Maryland, Audra Lambert of Sterling Heights, Michigan, and Joe Nelson Denny of East Detroit, Michigan, and a great grandchild, Reed Timothy Denny of Seattle, Washington. The family will receive friends today (Sunday, October 28) after 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Ted Huddleston, Ronald Timothy Denny, Richard Lewis Denny, Michael Lambert, Arnold Judd, Lamar Medley and Harold Ralph Maynard. Bro. James Paul Anderson will officiate at the services.
