MILLEDGEVILLE - Funeral service for Robert W. Black of rural Dixon, who was pronounced dead at Sterling Community General Hospital Friday night after collapsing onstage at Camelot Dinner Theater, Sterling, was held this afternoon at Milledgeville Brethren Church. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery here. Woodin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund has been established for the church. Results of an autopsy were incomplete this morning, according to Whiteside County coroner James Grennan. Black played the part of a deaf mute in the play, "The Fantasticks," at the theater in Emerald Hill Country Club. He collapsed during the second act of the play. Born Sept. 13, 1954, at Akron, Ohio,
he was the son of the Rev. James and Shirley (Andrick) Black. He came to Milledgeville from Waterloo, Iowa, seven years ago with his parents. A student at Sauk Valley College, he was employed as a salesman by Lee's Cyclery and also The Paradox, both of Sterling. Surviving are his parents of Milledgeville; three brothers, James of Ashland, Ohio, and John and Glenn, both of Milledgeville; a sister, Miss Barbara, also of Milledgeville; and his grandparents of Akron.
