Mr. Floyd P. Anderson, 65, of rural Carson City (9412 West Hayes Road) died Tuesday evening at his home as the result of a heart attack. He was born in Emerson Township on July 19, 1903, to Elsie and Melvin Anderson. He had been employed by the O.O. Mitchell Machine Shop in St. Louis for 16 years, retiring in 1966.
Surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Forest Andrew of Alma, Mrs. Leland Graham of St. Louis, Mrs. Vernon Bliesener, Mrs. Richard Simmons and Mrs. Goldie Cassle, all of Lansing and Mrs. Clayton Church of DeWitt; and five brothers, Ford, Lloyd, Robert and Harold, all of St. Louis, and Ward of Alma.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Carter Funeral Home in St. Louis. Rev. Raymond Fish will officiate and burial will be at the Emerson Cemetery in Gratiot County.
